Fast-acting foliar nutrition for stronger growth & higher yields

Reduce nitrogen inputs and lower carbon footprints by replacing 40 kg nitrogen per hectare with just 7 kg nitrogen per hectare from EfficieNt 28 with no yield or quality loss.

Foliar nitrogen fertiliser (28 – 0 – 0 w/w):

  • Total Nitrogen 28% (22% Methanal Urea polymer + 6% Urea)

  • The highest possible polymer content of any foliar nitrogen fertiliser

  • Phased release of nitrogen over 4 to 6 weeks in the readily available amine (NH2) form

  • Almost 100% uptake

  • Direct to target exactly when the growing crop needs it

  • No leaching

  • No volatilisation (no need for urease inhibitors)

  • Completely crop safe – NO SCORCH!

  • Tank mix compatible with many plant protection products (please contact us for more details)

  • Apply at key spray timings to reduce travel

Available in IBC (1000 L) and cans (20 L)

Reducing On-Farm Carbon Footprints Using EfficieNt 28 Foliar Nitrogen Fertiliser

It is estimated that 48% of the global population is fed with crops grown with synthetic fertilisers, and the world’s population is expected to grow by 20% by 2050.

Manure and synthetic fertilisers emit the equivalent of 2.6 gigatonnes of carbon-equivalents per year – more than global aviation and shipping combined.

Researchers, from the University of Cambridge, found that two-thirds of emissions from fertilisers take place after they are spread on fields, with one-third of emissions coming from production processes.

EfficieNt 28 is applied to the canopy without soil contact. There is, therefore, no leaching, volatilisation or any carbon footprint associated with soil application. The chart here compares the carbon footprint value of EfficieNt 28 to common soil-applied nitrogen fertilisers.

Bar chart comparing carbon footprint of various nitrogen fertilizers: Urea (5.13), UAN (3.13), Ammonium Nitrate (3.07), CAN (2.38), Ammonium Sulphate (1.62), Efficienct 28 (0.906). Includes production and emissions from soil use data.

Why Choose Efficient 28?

  • Optimised Nitrogen Supply – Delivers nitrogen directly to the leaf for immediate uptake and utilisation.

  • Reduced Volatilisation & Leaching – Minimises nitrogen loss to the environment, ensuring maximum efficiency.

  • Enhanced Crop Resilience – Supports strong vegetative growth, improving yield potential.

  • Tank Mix Compatible – Easily integrates with most plant protection products for seamless application.

  • Safe & Effective – Non-scorch formula ensures gentle application, even in sensitive crops.

Application: Suitable for use across a wide range of crops to support early-season growth and maximise nitrogen efficiency.

Available in: 1000L IBCs and 20L cans.

Boost your crop performance with Efficient 28 – the smarter way to deliver nitrogen.
